Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 7 PM - 9 PM: National "Neighborhood Night Out" (NNO) Celebration at our own neighborhood North Park at Hermitage and Furness
Streets.
- There will be representatives speaking about our neighborhood from the police and fire departments.
- Ice cream and watermelon will be served.
- There will be drawings for prizes from local merchants.
- Thursday May 24, 6:30 at the Goodwill Community Center
- Meeting called to order by Pres. Ramon Trevino at 6:45p.m.
- Minutes from the March 8 meeting were approved.
- The main items to be discussed are as follows:

- Bridge Issue (item tabled due to fact that city reps had a conflict and were not able to make the meeting. This project is officially on hold.
- Neighborhood Planning and Zoning Commission: report was given by our representative to the commission, Maureen Meredith.We are paired with the Windsor Hills
neighborhood to work on this project. There will be a kick-off meeting this summer and a mailout will alert people as to the details of when and where the
meeting will take place. A web site will be set up for the commission where we can go for info as it becomes available.
- Larry Wu, Developer: not available at the time allotted.
- New Business: Diane Key presented a certificate of appreciation to the Assn. from APD that we recv'd at the dinner on April 19. She also showed an engraver
given to us that she will keep and when someone wants to use it they can email her.
- Other issues brought up by concerned neighbors: can we get Grande Communications in the neighborhood?
- How about stop signs at Brettonwoods at Rutherford?
- How can we address the issue of speeders in the neighborhood?
- Larry Wu came to answer questions and held a discussion session.
- Meeting adjourned at 8:00p.m.

I think she recommended looking at the Oak Hill plan. We also began by looking at the Dawson Neighborhood Plan. I think it was one of the first ones completed.
