The Library participated in the Lionfest on September 20 with a paperback book sale. Ten volunteers logged in a total of 63 hours preparing our booth, transporting and setting up books for the sale. Books of many categories were sold for 25 cents each until the end of the day when books were put on sale for $1.00 a bag. Proceeds will go toward the purchase of new books for the Library.
