Liberal Arts Academy

The Liberal Arts Academy (LAA) is a community of college bound readers and writers taking four years of courses designed to bring out the best in gifted and talented thinkers. The LAA prides itself on offering seminar style classes with experimental curriculum while providing access to a full array of activities within its 4A "home school." Students excel in and thrive on such activities as RAMPAGES literary magazine, film criticism and editing, K-RAM TV broadcasting, advanced debate and theater, AP Art History and AP Studio Art, Youth and Government and Model U.N., and music and music history of all sorts.

The LAA offers a casual, friendly environment for students to grow into scholars--scholars having fun. The LAA has much-loved traditions, like the end-of-year picnic and the Winter Coffeehouse at Zilker Park. Students suggest new clubs that highlight their interests and embark on numerous academic and social adventures together. Ask about our AP scores--the best percentages in the district, and about how we create and recreate courses. Come visit the Liberal Arts Academy--where students enjoy their whole day.
